Services

What we do and who pays for it

Every service has a payer. So that you know what you are entitled to, each item states who covers the bill.

Personal care and mobility

Support with washing, showering, dental care, dressing and undressing, as well as mobilisation and repositioning.

Basic care protects dignity and independence in everyday life. Our certified nurses come at fixed times and work to a care plan agreed with you and your relatives.

What is included

  • Personal hygiene
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Help getting up and repositioning
  • Support with meals

Payer: Billed through the care insurance fund from care level 2 (benefits in kind, Section 36 SGB XI).

Medical nursing care

Services prescribed by a doctor, such as medication, injections, wound care and monitoring of vital signs.

Medical nursing care is prescribed by your doctor and covered by your health insurance fund. We document every measure and coordinate directly with the treating practice.

What is included

  • Administering and preparing medication
  • Injections, including insulin
  • Dressing changes and wound care
  • Monitoring blood pressure, pulse and blood sugar
  • Putting on and taking off compression stockings
  • Applying and removing compression bandages

Payer: Prescribed by a doctor, costs covered by the health insurance fund (Section 37 SGB V).

Care for children

We support children and adolescents who need professional help at home because of an illness or a particular care requirement.

Our nurses provide care in familiar surroundings and coordinate closely with parents, relatives and the treating doctors. The focus is on the needs of the child, their safety and attentive, caring support.

What is included

  • Basic and personal care
  • Support with mobility and nutrition
  • Medical nursing care as prescribed by a doctor
  • Administering medication and medical care
  • Support and relief for parents and relatives
  • Individual care based on the child's needs

Payer: Prescribed by a doctor and billed through the health insurance fund, plus the care insurance fund if a care level has been granted.

Advisory visit under Section 37 (3) SGB XI

Mandatory advisory visit for everyone who receives the care allowance and is cared for at home by relatives.

Anyone receiving the care allowance must document a regular advisory visit: every six months for care levels 2 and 3, every three months for levels 4 and 5. We come to your home, advise family carers on handling, aids and relief options, and send the confirmation straight to the care insurance fund. Without the visit, the fund reduces the allowance.

What is included

  • Appointment at your home
  • Advice on care techniques and aids
  • Information on relief services and upgrading the care level
  • Confirmation goes directly to the care insurance fund
  • Also available for care level 1 on request

Payer: The care insurance fund covers the cost under Section 37 (3) SGB XI.

Household support

Shopping, cooking, laundry, cleaning: we help with everyday tasks.

A well-run household is what makes life in your own home possible. We take on exactly the tasks you want to hand over.

What is included

  • Shopping and preparing meals
  • Laundry and cleaning
  • Keeping the home in order
  • Accompaniment to appointments

Payer: Via the relief amount of 131 euros per month (Section 45b SGB XI) or as benefits in kind.

Household help for families

Household support during pregnancy and after childbirth, financed by the health insurance fund.

When pregnancy, birth or illness make running a household impossible, we step in. As a rule, the health insurance fund covers the costs.

What is included

  • Running the household and childcare
  • Shopping and meals
  • Support after a hospital stay
  • We help with the application

Payer: Costs covered by the health insurance fund under Sections 24h and 38 SGB V.

Modern wound management

Professional wound care together with certified wound experts for optimal healing.

Chronic wounds need a system, not improvisation. We work to the national expert standard for the care of people with chronic wounds and document healing with photographs.

What is included

  • Certified wound experts on the team
  • Photo documentation of progress
  • Coordination with the doctor and medical supply store
  • Advice on pressure ulcer prevention

Payer: Prescribed by a doctor, billed through the health insurance fund.

Relief for family carers

When family carers need a break, we take over the care reliably.

Family carers carry the heaviest load. Respite care lets you go on holiday or be ill without care breaking down.

What is included

  • Available at short notice
  • By the hour or by the day
  • A familiar primary nurse
  • We handle the billing with the care insurance fund

Payer: Respite care under Section 39 SGB XI. A joint annual budget of 3,539 euros covers respite and short-term care (Section 42a SGB XI).

Talk to us before the situation becomes urgent.

Most families call us after a hospital stay, under time pressure. A conversation beforehand takes that pressure away. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
